The Breakthrough and Breakdown

Dear Diary, yet again,

I have come to the conclusion that my leadership among the children is decreasing greatly. Jack is overpowering me and this is very depressing to me. I must regain my reign yet again! How can such a raggedy boy as Jack, take my throne away from me!? It just doesn't fly with me, but no worries the children will come to their senses. We have been discovering more pigs, we are hungry and need food especially meat. Pigs are a good supply of food and thanks to Jack, we were able to eat. Not everything about Jack makes me mad, I will say that I am glad for his hunting skills. Without Jack we would be fighting intensely just to stay with peace in our island community. We have also found out that there is a beast that has been stalking us, but we have no idea as to where it is. The jungle is full of adventures, but there is also danger that we are facing. Fear not for I will overcome this drought of my power and I will safely protect the children of my colony. Jack will also keep up his hunting skills and each of us will provide and pitch in to bring success to our island.

With much much hope,
Ralph

  1. Hey Ralph! Now you know how I feel about Jack. Can you believe he hit me the way he did and broke my glasses? Sure he can hunt, but he takes forever and he doesn't even give me meat! I'll always be for you being the leader! And the beastie thing, I still don't know about that being for sure...

  2. Make sure Jack doesn't take power. You have to keep fighting on. Jack is good with hunting skills but not good to be in charge of everyone.

  3. I believe in you Ralph. Jack is not a good leader, but you know what's best for all of us.
